By utilizing the RFID technology, the CY-MF01 is a high-performance proximity reader which is designed to work at a frequency of 13.56MHz that able to read from a short range distance of up to 10 CM. It is suitable for both indoor and outdoor operation. The reader supports standard Mifare proximity format (i.e. default IC card) which will be compatible with most access controllers as well. In addition, the reader is secured in tamper-resistant epoxy potting and certified to ingress protection – IP 65 to secure the critical installation environment. This is a great solution for offices, condominiums, guarded communities and other secured areas that require a decent security at an affordable price.
